Osorno Volcano (2652 m a.s.l.)
Osorno Volcano, one of the most iconic peaks in southern Chile, offers a scenic and rewarding ascent, whether on skis or on foot. The climb begins after an overnight stay at Teski Refuge, located at the base of the volcano. This comfortable mountain lodge provides the perfect base for rest and preparation before the ascent.
The route involves a steady climb over snow-covered slopes, with a positive elevation gain of about 1,450 meters. On ski, this is a classic volcano tour with panoramic descents; without skis, the summit is reached using crampons and ice axe, depending on conditions. From the top, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding lakes, fjords, and distant volcanoes. After the ascent, we return to Teski Refuge or descend further depending on the program.
