Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at El Alto Airport in La Paz, transfer to the hotel, equipment check, and technical briefing.
Day 2
Free day to explore La Paz and acclimate at 3,660 meters above sea level.
Day 3
Transfer from La Paz to the picturesque village of Sajama (4,240 masl.) with a 4-hour drive. Overnight in a hostel.
Day 4
Ascent of Wisalla (5,032 masl.) for acclimatization. This peak offers stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
Day 5
Ascent of the Acotango Volcano (6,052 masl.). Return to the village of Sajama.
Day 6
Rest day in the village of Sajama.
Day 7
Ascent of the Parinacota Volcano (6,342 masl.).
Day 8
Rest day in the village of Sajama.
Day 9
Transfer from Sajama to the base camp of Nevado Sajama (4,800 masl.).
Day 10
Move our camp to the high camp of Sajama (5,700 masl.).
Day 11
Summit attempt of Nevado Sajama (6,542 masl.), followed by descent to the base camp.
Day 12
Extra day for summit attempt.
Day 13
Dismantle base camp, transfer to the village of Sajama, have lunch, then transfer to La Paz for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 14
Transfer to El Alto Airport and end of services.
